Going Wireless, Is It Worth It

I have the X2 XDR95 rack version. Works great. I use 2 iPower 9V 500 mAh rechargeable lithiums. About 7 hours per charge. I got it since I also run the sound, so I can get out in front and listen.

Same here - it's also great for keeping house sound guys on their toes... All the advantages are well worth it to me - I'm not going back.... Currently, I have either a G-K 700rb-II or a GBE 600 racked with a Korg DTR-2000 tuner, and the XDR-95... I keep my transmitter in the back of my rack with a speaker cable already hooked up, and a surge strip with a 15' 14/3 extension cord...

Whomever said it was a hassle hasn't seen me set up - I wheel my cab in, put my rack on it, pop off the covers, plug in the speaker cable and power cord, and plug in the transmitter - and I'm up and running in less than 1 minute - it really couldn't get more hassle-free... AND, I don't have anything on the floor to worry about getting stepped on, or spilled on, etc... We sometimes get some hotties up on stage with us, and having nothing for anyone to step on or trip over is great, IMO - plus crossing the stage without the same worries...
