Here's a mid 80's MIJ Jazz bass..stripped and refinished in ReRanch Gibson Gold Top Gold..All nitro,including the neck and pickguard.Matching headstock as well

The bass was first sighted at a music fair in Sweden 2007. After that, it has been traversing the country for almost a year as a demo-ex, without getting sold. Apparently, a friend of the current owner works for the retailer in Sweden, and sold him this at a VERY good price. (The price it cost to buy it from Sandberg )

Here is my Stingray 5. I love the gold metallic finishes and I always seem to find good bargains on them. I used to have a Modulus VJ4 in gold as well. My apologies for including a photo of my guitar. I know, the neck is too short, strings too thin, very bright sounding etc. but it does have alot of low end and that finish is awesome!

I remeber that one can get the same one in silver to.

No, I think it's just sandblasted ash or alder, to bring out the texture of the wood better!
