I don't know about this weed wacker talk.
I tested weed wackers on a UBass last year, and it flat out didn't work.
Very different material, very different tension.
It was a No Go, in my book.
I received the Weedwacker strings today. They're quite different than the Pahoehoe and Thundergut, no stretchiness at all and very smooth. Haven't put them on the GT yet, also got a new ukulele today so I'm focussed on that.
