Mandolin Brothers on Staten Island is a world renowned repair shop, easily one of the best in the states.

I live around the corner from them. They don't do repair work on amps, and they have a long turn around time for setups. They also subcontract a lot of their work out, which I think is BS considering what they charge.

I know some of the guys in your band by the way.

davidson electronics on long island is where i'd go..very helpfull. no personal connections to me, they were just nice, and good at what they did..

my bad list- jess oliver. charges for his name. rarely fixes a thing, but charges a LOT.

Mandolin Bros is reputable.

I've been bringing all my gear to Maggio Music on 18th Ave. and 85th St. in Bklyn. Nino (Valenti) used to work there, I believe he'll also vouch for the place. If ya go, ask for Mike Jr. and tell him I sent you. If he's busy that may get you a quicker job, I've been a customer there since I was 7 yrs. old. That's a lot of years ago.
