Good Amp simulators

Hi guys,

I'm looking for good bass amp simulator software that I can get my hands on for free.

The stuff I am recording is mainly rocky stuff so a decent SVT type sound is essential but it would be nice to have some other options.

Any ideas?

There a free version of Amplitube that I believe comes with an Ampeg simulation. You can download extra amp models for a modest price too.

Yes, Amplitube is great!

An impulse response plugin (there are numerous freebies) and amp/cabinet impulse responses can serve pretty well as far as amp simulators, too.
