Good Cabinet For that Low B

Best suggestion in the thread is a used 410HLF if you want the Markbass amp to get you a reasonable low B.

If you're willing to go custom, a 212/6 fEarful model from LDS would be the bee's knees for this application. Louder than an acme 4x10 and lighter too.

HMMM.. When I converted from 15s to 4x10s in 2005, I compared the 410 hlf to SWR GIII, and found the Ampeg to break up at a lower volume than the Goliath, and that was with a four string Jazz. I require a clean and wide range tone so I went with the SWR. That was when SWR used PAS drivers instead of the Ems in the Ampeg. Now the G IV uses Eminence too, so don't know how they'd compare.

I'm with you on the fEarful wagon though!!
