Good, cheaper, alternative to 1-Spot

As per the title really - my 1-Spot makes crackling noises, although it still functions. I don't think it's trustworthy though.

I have to power a tube pre-amp with this power supply, so I can't hook it up to my existing power brick. 1-Spots are expensive though so I'd rather not buy another at this point in time.

Are there any decent alternatives? It'll need to draw up to 2000 mA of current.

Expensive? I don't know how much they are in the UK, but in the States they are like $18. Pretty much the same price as a pizza.

Fair enough! They're a little more expensive here but maybe $25. I just caved and ordered one as I wanted the confidence of that power supply. They are great.
