I'm a long time jazz enthusiast who has only recently really got into learning to play. Hopefully will be getting myself a teacher asap but in the mean time could someone please suggest to me a few good charts to walk over. I've been doing some walking over modal tracks recently and found it can be quite hard. Especially when you have 16 measures of D dorian (yes, So What
) P.C seems to find repetition to be the key there. My theory is pretty good and I feel like I know what sounds good when you're walking just from years of listening to great players. So any charts. Chances are I will have the song in my iTunes but can't be sure, so the more suggestions the more likely I am to be able to play something. If you have a chord sheet of the track you could attach that would be even better.
