Good gig bag

Another vote for the Protec Contego. Very good protection without excess bulk and weight. Nice shoulder straps, very well built. This is the first bass case I've owned that convinced me I can live without hard cases.

Currently $104 on Amazonhttp://www.amazon.com/dp/B001BAJNRO/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8, regularly about $140.

I've also got a Mono M-80 which is also very good with slightly bigger pockets. Excellent protection as well with some very nice features, but it is a bit bulkier and the fabric isn't quite as tough as the Protec. As much as I really like it, I doubt I'd buy a second Mono -but will likely buy another Protec Contego.

After some research I'm leaning towards buying a Mono
I have an chance to get an m80 on a discount .
I'm aware of Vertigo advantages re: boot protection and vertical insertion
... Is there any advantages of m80 over vertigo?
Also is one larger than the other depth wise?
Thanks

The M80 has a larger front pocket and the shoulder straps tuck into a pocket on the back. I think you'll be pleased with either one.
