would it be worth it to buy the LEAST EXPENSIVE bass i can find and practice adjusting it? i found a $30 bass on the internet. would i just be waisting my cash? or would it help me with my expensive wick and other basses? i just want to practice the work on the bridge, and the truss rod. so in a pinch i can do minute adjustments. Would it be a waist? or a good thing? And here is a random photo of the bass.

I'll second that and say, tweak it and mod it until you feel comfortable enough to work on your expensive basses on your own and once it's in good gig-ready condition, flip that "custom" cheapo for a profit.
Going for least expensive is allways a bad choice. Buy the nicest you can afford instead. If you cant afford at least $200 for a used instrument, save up some more money till you can afford at least that. Buying cheap is allways counterproductive imo. Yes sometimes peeps will find a lower cost model better suited to them for sound and playability etc. Thats not based in any way on deciding to buy cheap. Its instead based on buying best for you instrument instead.
