Good Loop Pedal?

Hey guys,

I want to get a loop pedal, mainly helping me solo over my riffs and stuff, i dont want anything fancy, just something that will do the job ya dig? I dont really want to spend over £100 if possible... Does anyone know anything?

You could have used the search, because there's many many topics about this.

But without converting pounds to American dollars, I'm gonna say check out the Boss RC-2. I've never used one, but it sounds like what you're looking for.

Third vote for the headrush.

Very, very soon, someone will also mention the Line 6 DL4 and the Boss RC2.

The headrush is very simple and intuitive to use (although the manual has a mistake in it which makes things much harder...) and requires less of a learning curve than the others AFAIK. However, it is limited in features compared to the others (but that means less of a learning curve!)

Hardwire DL-8, Boss DD-7, Boss RC-2, Boss RC-20xl, Boss DD-20, EHX SMMH, Akai Headrush, Line 6 DL4, etc. That's all I can think of off the top of my head for less than an arm and a leg.

I mentioned the RC2 in my post. Although I hear the Akai is very good (never really tried one), I don't know how much they go for in England. Which is why I suggested the RC2, because it's the cheapest loop pedal that I can think of.

My guitar player uses a DL4 religiously in our music. It's a lot of fun to play with! Really easy to use and has a ton of other capabilities. However, they have been known to get sick after a while, he is on his third right now (i think he bought he first one 6 or 7 years ago). I would recommend it for light use, but something sturdier would be better
