Good news!

Many of you have posted in the other thread about my son. Let me first again say thank you all!
On to the good news. After another ct scan yesterday showing that his tumor had decreased in size by 70% and a metting with the surgeons today, surgury is schedualed for the 5th! They are hopful that they can remove the entire tumor without having to take his left kidney. Thankyou to everyone for all the support.

Do you know WHERE on his kidney the tumor is located? Outside surfaces? Interior?

The short version. The tumor and his adrenal gland are basically one. the tumor looks as though it is making some contact with the left kidney. They will be able to tell better during the surgury. The tumor has not infultrated the kidney. It is possible one lymphnode my need to be removed as well.
