Good picks for a full sound?

I currently use 1.0 nylon picks from Herco and I love them but I'm looking to try some other ones. I want something that is clear and full and has drive but not something that has a lot of clack or high end clank to it. Any ideas?

I just switched from the Tortex yellows to the blues..those are 1.0mm..The yellows are faster picks but the blues have more weight and heft behind the pluck.

I'm playing Dunlop Gator grips, at 0.96mm. Love 'em. They have a great sound and a coating that seems somewhat soft but when they get wet they get really grip and theres no way you can drop one!

Sound wise, you dont get that 'pick sound' when it contacts the string that some picks give you.

I have personally found that the thicker the pick, the less "clack" and more lows you get. I use 1.14mm Tortex atm (the purple ones). I like the material on those.

.73's best. Ever. But I tend to strum through rather than pluck. I find that the yellow tortex picks have enough give to them to not make the unwanted clanking and all that, but they still hit the string hard enough to make a clear, full sound.

I use the purple Dunlop Big Stubby 2mm Picks. I get a nice deep sound out of them picking between the neck and the pickup.

Yes, very much so. I have 5 different types of picks I use. Every one sounds different. Strings all sound different too.
