Good replacement speakers for EVM 15's

I'm in need of some help finding a good replacement speaker for a Dietz 2x15 cab. It was originally loaded with EVM's but as they are harder to come by these days and they weigh a ton, I need any advice for a good replacement. I've been looking at the Neo speakers because of the lighter weight but I don't know how they will fare being pushed by a Mesa Big Block 750.
Again, any advice would be appreciated.

As I recall the TL606 was a 1x15
I have read here that the 3015 (non-LF) is a decent crossover; the tone has been described as very good, whatever that means
I've had a brand new 3015 in a box for the last 6 months and haven't gotten around to swapping; will post a comparison in the next week or two.
BTW, I built my TL606 from some scrap 3/4 oak plywood bacj in the mid 80's; it wasn't that heavy back then but sure is heavy now; maybe the neo will make the schlep easier

The Deitz boxes were made here in Austin and are essentially tl-606 clones (for the 115). PA versions added an HF horn & driver.

I would think the Faital 15PR400 would at least be a little closer to what you're used to hearing as it's brighter. Different "character", but at least brighter.

The EV's that are supposed to be in there have a tone thing that's worth the weight, IMO. Though the boxes are built like a nuclear-proof outhouse, they could be made considerably lighter yet just as solid.

Oh believe me, I know those EV's tonally can't be touched. I had two of the old Dietz 1x15's with the EVM 15's but they burned up in a fire...:crying:
They are just so hard to find these days AND they weigh a ton.
If I can find EVM's I'll gladly load that beast with them!
