I think the loud drummers in my area all know not to tempt it with me at this point... Last guy who tried completely foo-barred a live recording in a very small room. Not ideal but it was our opportunity to capture the thing. As I mixed down I took a mix of the two vocal mics. All you could hear was drums and a smidge of vocals. Gave it to him and asked what he thought... needs more kick ... then told him it wasn't the drum mics... bye!
