What are some good strings for pick users? I am currently using stock strings from my Fender P bass. I do indeed use a pick...I was thinking of getting new strings but it seems all of you are fingerplayers and not pick players. Anyone have any advice?

Good strings for pick users?

JonnyBassist, Carol Kaye plays exclusively with a pick on a P bass, she uses the Thomastik Jazz flats.
I also use these strings on my P bass but I am a finger player.
IMHO, it really doesn't make any difference what strings anyone uses, as long as you like your sound!

I read in your profile that you play punk-rock and to me the ultimate string for that kind of sound is "rotosound swing 66's" I play fingerstyle but I played exclusively with a pick for a long time ans they sound just as good in any situation.
