Good wah pedal to use?????

I've had several wah pedals, pretty much all the common contenders. I wasn't too impressed with dunlop 105q, it just doesn't hit my sweet spot, even though I otherwise think it's ok. Didn't sell it, but it's been collecting dust for last five or so years. Morley was ok too, but a bit more rock than funk, so it had to go. EBS wahone is goog, but a bit too mild for my likings, it doesn't go crazy which I think is important with wah bass, it sometimes needs to be a bit over the top. Current favourite is probably the original brawl buster (if I remenber the name correctly) by snarling dogs, but it's discontinued. Probably not the best wah ever, but it's very funky and affordable and I like it way more than the dunlop. From todays market I'd probably buy the whine o wah by snarling dogs.

Check out the George dennis Wah/Volume. It's optical, sounds awesome, and has two frequency settings. Really clean and full sounding.

anyone tried the Budda Budwah on Bass? I know guitar players love this wah pedal...

i like the sound of the snarling dogs wahs (basically) but they ARE constructed supper poorly

that ugly bootsy wah has pretty good sounding fuzz too. but not a good investment.

Definitely another +1 for the Wilson 12-Position Q-Wah with vintage specs. Extremely versatile wah pedal and the one that is on my board.

Has anyone had a chance to try the Stanley Clarke Wah? Chicago bass Club has a few now. Any reviews?

I recently tried out the keeley Nova Wah which is a two channel fixed wah. Its really cool and I noted no low end loss at all but of course it doesnt allow you to make any wah sounds as the effect is fixed.

it sure works well to give you an incredibly mid focussed nasally tone which could be cool but not likely needed much on bass. I can see why guitar players would love this thing. I would have absolutely bought it as a neat "nice to have" effect but the price was insane for such a simple pedal.

Someone here on TB may just love it if you are looking for a fixed wah tone.

Dunlop's 535Q Wah is the best all-around wah I have found.

The Rocktron Black Cat Moan is friggin' awesome for heavy rock and metal.

Someone asked about the Budda Bud-Wah earlier. I played with one for about fifteen minutes and concluded that is has a ridiculously short sweep range that doesn't reach nearly low enough for bass players. It's a great sounding, classic guitar wah, though.
