good Wah Pedal

im looking to find a good wah pedal. i was looking at the morley power wah but my store doesnt have them in & i will have to order one to try it out. are there any other wah pedals worth giving a try??im mainly using it for metal &/or solos

I'm on the fence with the 105-Q after reading this TB thread. Have you had any trouble with the buffered bypass on this one? I'm not a true-bypass devotee by any stretch, but I had to sell a Dimebag wah a few months back because the bypass signal was so different than my original sound. I'd be plugging it in for one or two songs at shows, and it was too much of a hassle.

I've been looking into the Fulltone Clyde, but the price point puts me off.

Dunlop 105-Q. It's a great little wah.

The dunlop is good if you want something subtle and funky, but it sounds like TS wants the exact opposite of that.

I'd get an old Morley, the kind from the 70's and 80's with the huge chrome housing. Specifically, I'd get a PWB. In addition to being what both Cliff Burton and Jason Newstead used, its just an awesome wah. Its a guitar wah, though, so you lose a lot of low end. They appear on eBay frequently enough, and usually go for $130-150.

Or, you could get an Ibanez Weeping Demon. It's cheap and can at least half ass any wah tone you could possibly want.

IMHO hands down for the money it cannot be beat at around $100.00 new.....it has a bass specific setting...does old school and new school....auto or foot activated, filter adjustments etc...plus it's optical no mechanical arm to break...

+1 on the Weeping Demon, I picked up one used for $60 CDN, great pedal no loss of bottom end and very tweakable for bass.
