As you get older SR I have found a short scale bass is a handy bass to have in the arsenal when Arthur-Ritis comes creeping along to cramp your style loll..that darn unwanted visitor - Arthur!Well, I (sort of) regret selling my '68 Telecaster bass back in '71 and not buying a '65 Fender Jazz back in 2004 for $1,500. I say "sort of" because today, at age 70, I find short scale Fender/Squiers to be more comfortable, although that '65 Jazz would have been a good investment.
