two fingers

Opinionated blowhard. But not mad about it.

I did a search and found a few posts in other threads, but none really covered what I was after.

Here's a link to the company for anyone else interested. I have no relationship with them whatsoever. Zero.

The company is actually located right here in my town. I am about to invest in some good buds, before finding a system to run them with.

I'm just wondering what others think of their buds. A couple of years ago now I went to their office and tried a few pairs, but they weren't molded, and I just hooked them up to my phone and played a few song clips. I wasn't blown away, but I only tried the lower end models and, again, they weren't molded.

So I'm really curious about their multi-driver units.

I want to support the local guy, but only if his product is good stuff.

Thanks!

(IEMs are used for live sound, so I stuck this here. Please move if need be.)

I have no exposure to them..positive or otherwise.
Based on specs, the set you are looking at looks good.
About $100 LESS than the 1964 Ears equivalents - the A4 - but without the ADEL tech..

This is a serious question so don't take it the wrong way.

What is "ADEL tech" and why do I care? Or maybe I should say why would one want it?

Thanks for the input.

understood, not taking it the wrong way...
Goto 1964 Invalid Link Removed or Asius here for more info on ADEL.. they can explain it better than I.

no clue, but as a player and repair guy i've had bad experiences with gorilla amps and gorilla glue, so...

(i do like the gorilla glass on my phone screen though)

That ADEL technology, while a bit over my head, seems to make sense. You reckon it's real or marketing hype?

Great. Now I have another option to confuse me. :wacky:
No.. it's real.. not hype.
Here's a VERY lengthy thread about it on head-fi dot org .. feel free to read up on it.
1964 Ears Adel IEMs

I've been using IEM's for close to 6 yrs now (on and off), but full-time for about 2.5 yrs!
I have 1964 Qi's and am waiting on my A8's (ADEL model) to be finished up. My band is also 1964 endorsees, so we're a little "biased" in that area.. and based on my current buds, well worth it. Guitar player uses Ultimate Ears UE7's.
No experience with Gorilla, but my drummer had Alien Ears C3's that have had to go back twice. Singer is waiting on his A12's to arrive.
There are plenty of GOOD vendors out there.. Gorilla may be on that list..
I'd google, google, google and check other bass and/or pro-audio forums.
