Got a Geddy

Won a Geddy Lee sig Jazz on ebay the other day, I'm glad to say. Will post pictures when it arrives. Think I'm probably going to swap the scratchplate out for a BWB one. Not sure of the best place to get one in the UK. There are plenty plates on ebay, but not specific to the geddy (which has the odd screw in the middle. BTW, any ideas what that's for?

I replaced my white Geddy guard w/ one I got off Ebay. It fit perfect - funny, it doesn't actually have the middle screw, but the others lined up perfectly and the "11th hole" is covered up.

It also has two holes drilled incase I want to throw a tug-bar on there! But I'd have to drill into the body...

WD music has TONS of colors - I did a simple chart when I was deciding which to get - ended up with black cause it was only $20 on Ebay :p

Thanks for that, spinal tapper. I've looked at the WD music site before, but was wondering if there was anyone in the UK doing something similar so I don't need to pay through the teeth for postage! Will have to trawl through google results again...

I'm liking the simplicity of the black guard. Nice contrast between that and the maple board, making the inlays stand out, or 'pop' as someone on America's next top model might say. I have a black strat-type guitar with a maple board and a red pearloid plate that's pretty sexy, but not sure I like the idea of a matching guitar and bass combo...
