FINALLY!! after about 6 months or so of being out of commission My Vint-modified squire j~bass is repaired and playable. A while back I did something stupid. I didn't do my research and thought by defretting a regular fretted neck that I could make it a fretless and worse case scenario I could always refret it. WELL it didn't work out that way and I completely ruined the Neck. with that said for Xmas I got a 60's vibe jazz neck.Not the stock one that came with the bass.i Must say it has a great feel and sound.I forgot how good of a bass this is and how good it feels/sounds. Now its time for a fender, but not until after I buy a Stratocaster first.
