Got the new Rigel ABG check this out

After some heavy consideration, I have thought about how to get some of the basses out to different parts of the country! Trying to figure out how to send maybe six basses to key geographic areas to willing bass players be played and shown. Any Ideas?

Check this out the Rigel Acoustic Bass is making its first real public appearance . We will be at the Farmington Valley Guitar show in Farmington Ct March 31st 2012 . It will be a chance to actually touch the bass play one and talk to Pete and the Guys about this truly exceptional instrument. Check in here for updates as they become available. Thanks

I would be more than willing to help show it off backing up the folkies during Music PEI and the holiday season... :) of course that's a whole different country....:)

I just got the confirmation that the guys from Rigel are going to be at the Farmington Valley Guitar Show March 31, 2012. Pete and his team are going to have the basses there so people in the northeast can experience them . Check out the shows sure for details

Just joined Talkbass today looking for more info about a cheapo AEB I bought online and am waiting for... and am so glad to have come across this thread about the Rigel.

Pete - congratulations on creating the Rigel, it looks and sounds great, I wish I could take a drive over to play one... maybe I'll take a detour if I go to the Montreal Jazz Fest this summer! (I'm in Toronto.)

I wonder if, since the neck is relatively easy to remove, would it be simple to buy a fretted and a fretless neck and swap 'em?

I'd like to find out about the cost of the Rigel, I was really keen on the Takamine TB-10 but $2500 is way too much for me! Whatever it is, I promise if I get it, people will see and hear it!

Again - well done!

I ended up making my own bass so that I could play acoustically in the pub and at small gigs.

I just got the new Rigel Acoustic Bass guitar and ..... wow loud and clear a ton of tone. plays a little better that typical ABGs . The best part is that you really don't have to alter your style of play with a pick to be heard acoustically any more. I have to post the video of a practice with the acoustic trio I play with for you to get the full idea. Can't wait for the first show with this thing. Check out the website . Pete is realy great about answering questions about the instrument.

I'd love one but $2500 will keep me wanting. :-(
