Double Bass Gotz 5/8 Upright

Hello all , I have recently come across a little 5/8ths Gotz “Goetz” Upright bass , 1962 #487 , it’s an all plywood bass needs refinished , is there a market for these basses or is it a waste of time and money to have it refinished

Market is mainly smaller size students, so I would't spend money beyond a good setup.
