Gould 440A

Hey, does anyone have this bass? It seems quite good, and I mite get it, but I'm unsure of how long it is likely to serve me. It has active pick-ups, and feels nice to play. I haven't been playing for long, but need a new bass. Just wondering what you know from your experiences. Heres a link if you don't know it by name.

if i were you id just go with a used mexican fender. i know i wouldnt buy a gould.

This is just a copy of a MM bass, much like the Rogue copies of Fenders.

How much are they asking for these basses? I couldn't find a price on the website.

Its about £200. Thats the RRP anyway. It plays nice, but as I'm new, I'm looking for other peoples opinions. Theres not much out there in this price range, and I like the unfinished underside of the neck ie. It's not got any varnish on it!
