Grace Design 101 DI/pre

The Grace 101 is a mic preamp.
It will work with a DI, such as the Countryman Type 85 that will convert bass signal levels to MIC level.
The Grace 101 is a Burr-Brown based IC design, very similar to Rane, Studio Projects, and M-Audio preamps. The BB circuit is very clean, and well suited for mic preamps.
Why do you want this expense box for a bass preamp?
Look elsewhere... you will be much happier. There are a lot of bass preamps that can be had for the same or less money, and are far more suitable for playing bass.

The model 101 has a Hi-Z input so no DI would be necessary...it could actually be used as a DI if preferred.
