Great idea for new "stompbox accessory"

I'm just an "idea guy"; I have no clue how to do this and will claim no ownership of intellectual property should someone make this and profit.

We complain often how otherwise great-sounding stompboxes suck out all the low end.

So why not devise something that lets you get a blend of your original signal with the box, or even create a crossover point and/or a LPF? It could be something that can be used on one specific pedal, or maybe as an effects loop...

Does this already exist and I'm just not aware of it?

There are lots of things that exist that you can do this with. Boss LS-2, Saturnworks, Loopmaster, Nose, etc, etc.

How? I mean, you can add clean blend to any pedal assuming there is room in the enclosure and you've got the soldering know how.

Indeed. However, let's assume for a moment that neither of those things are true for the sake of this argument. OCD pedals, for example, have no room to do this, which is what got me thinking. And I am as novice as it gets with a soldering iron. I'm sure there are others out there like me.

How do you propose that would work though? You need at least two jacks, a pot - which can possibly be an internal trimpot - and some electronics and you have to put it somewhere. You can perhaps put such a box (if you squeeze the content into a slim one) under the pedal you want to blend, or you can put it under the pedalboard.

Or you can buy a pedal that don't need blending in the first place, or one that has it built-in already.

You could, unless you just don't like the sound of the pedals that offer those options. And vintage pedals are off-limits in that regard sometimes. Check this out:

Yes, that's the first option I listed. A custom builder like [sfx] could probably build one for you, though it wouldn't be cheap.

Missing in the sketch is a 9V socket, and a "daisy chain" socket to power any other 9V pedals.

Now THAT'S cool! Wish there was an alterable crossover point (could there be a trimpot inside?). And I wonder why it has to be so thick... maybe they need the room for all the goodness, but I wonder.... if you could get it flat, it would fit UNDER a pedal, which is what I had in mind.
