Great Pawn Shop Finds

Earlier today I was hanging out with the guy who we are going to be recording with, and he showed me the bass he has. 1970s Fender P-Bass That he said he got from a pawn shop in Georgia for $350, apparently the guy who bought it in didnt want to do the paper work (or presumably he just wanted to pocket the difference). I played it, its really nice.

Anyone else had similar experiences?
