Greco bass bodies

I'm looking at this Greco P bass body.

Does anyone have a any experience with them as far as a project bass.

I'd add AVRI 2 60 P neck

Lacquered gold guard

Either PV 63's or AVRI 2 pickups

Nice project! The grain on that body is fantastic.

One small wrinkle - the screw holes may not line up exactly with those on a MIA Fender neck. You may need to dowel the old holes and redrill.

And there's no guarantee that the neck pocket size or position is right for an AVRI neck.
