Greetings and salutations!

Hi!

Glad to be here :)

Found this awesome community shortly after I started playing bass in October when my wife bought me the orange schecter pictures below on our honeymoon!!! She's a keeper! Both of em lol! She's played guitar and uke before but doesn't currently. Trying to encourage her to do so once more ;)

I've played a tuba for many years, but never a stringed instrument. I remembered hearing play that funky music by the wild cherries when I was a kid and asking my dad, "What's that sound?!" He answered "A bass guitar." ...only took almost two and a half decades, but now I (kinda) play one with the worship band in the church young adults group and having a blast!

Haha. Thanks brother!

The GAS seems to have subsided substantially over the five months after the radical shift in musical diet :roflmao:
... Still a couple things on the radar though.

You're right though. Can never short change the wife! Even if she's short;)

Already learned so much so fast in our first two nights and in preparation for them, it's amazing! Playing with the others is a real treat for sure!

Thanks man! Peace.
