Hi,
My name's Riccardo (Richard, for the english-speaking people out there!), I'm 23 years old and I'm writing from Italy.
The "I" does not state my "eldest condition", but the association between my name - Riccardo - and the figure of Richard I of England "The Lionheart", that everybody made when I was a kid :roflmao:).

I was born as a guitar player, around 6-7 years ago. Then I discovered myself as "a Bassman", so I took off two strings  I've been playing the bass for 4-5 years, both at home and live, and I started taking lessons a month ago - kinda felt like I'd have to improve my technical skills.

I decided to register myself on TalkBass in order to contribute to the topics, and not to read passively only. I also hope to improve my english

Musicwise, I love R&B, Funk, '70s disco and Reggae - but I don't dislike raw rock-blues, too. :hyper:

Two Fingers is a gear nerd. ;) I'm retired and on fixed income, so extra gear is a thing of the past for me. The gear nerds do like to see pictures of your gear, so send them some pictures.....

But all that aside, welcome to our World and I look forward to your comments and questions.

Hi Dudes,
Thanks for the welcome :)
By now, I'm happy with a 2014 Fender Mexico Standard Precision Bass and a 1995 Warwick Fortress 4 (Made in Germany, wengé neck)..but I'm looking for some new basses ;)

Both have had the pickups changed - bridge and pickguard have been changed on the Precision, too.
