Hello, fellow bass lovers! Longtime lurker, first-time poster.
First I have to say that music is life! I no longer play in a band..I still love jamming with friends, but that's a totally different animal, heheh.
My musical interests, and just interests in general, are wide and varied. I gave myself a rule many years ago: Learn something new, every single day, no matter what. (If you stop learning, your brain will actually lose the ability to continue learning, and that's just scary to me!)
I play an assortment of instruments, bass and piano being my favorites. Over the years I've enjoyed teaching myself not only to play, but to service / maintain / repair instruments, a little obsessive hobby. But hey, it saves friends and family money when something goes wrong!
Oh wow, I'm really not as full of myself as this sounds. But it's cold here, so I'll avoid retyping this and just hope no one reads it.
And if you read it, I do apologize for being long-winded. It only gets worse though so...yep, calling this one done.
