    Hi! Well as my name says I'm from the South (Mississippi, actually). I've been playing bass since December. My first bass is a Fender Squier Jazz. I recently bought a Washburn Lyon Precision from a friend that I intend to set up for BEAD tuning. Talkbass has been and continues to be a great help to me on my bass journey.

    When it comes to music, I listen mostly to rock and country. My tastes range anywhere from the Creedence Clearwater Revival to Alter Bridge, Hank Williams, Jr. to Brantley Gilbert.

    As for other information, I graduated high school this year and played keyboard in a worship band back in December (that was right before bass came in the picture). I also own the coolest hybrid instrument you will ever see. (It's called a dujo... I'll leave you to guess or ask about it.)

    Welcome, I'm originally from Biloxi, MS and now reside in Mobile by way of 25 years in So Cal. I did not graduate high school this year as you may have guessed :crying:

    I agree TalkBass can be a valuable resource just beware of opinions being flung around as fact.
