Well now that I've gotten my first thread out of the way in the amp section, an introduction is mandatory at this point.
I am Shaun Dead, also known as Mrd34d. While I may be new to playing bass as my primary instrument, I have 20+ years of rhythm punk guitar experience under my belt. I've had several solo projects over the last several years in the horrorpunk, punk rock, and stoner/doom/sludge genres. These were "The Crypt Hollow", "Dead Sea Revolt", and "Dreadnought Destroyer" respectively.
I've also played in several bands as part of the Durham regional scene back in the late 90's.
Also in those 20+ years, I've owned tons of gear, as well as restored a fair sized amount of guitars. I can give tons of details about all that...but I could go on for days.
Formally of the Toronto & Durham areas, I moved to Windsor Ontario (canada) in 2000 and have been here since.
My current project (which I want to make a physical band) is called FUZZEATER. A stoner/doom project. As I've been recording so far, it's been going in the direction & consistency of containing Drums, vocals, and two bass sections....and it sounds great. The best examples I could give of the the direction is along the lines of OM, Sleep, Electric Wizard and such.
Anyway I'll shut up now.
So hello.
