former Badlands bassist Greg Chaisson is joining Jake's Red Dragon Cartel! best news i have heard in a long time!! Greg is quite possibly my biggest inspiration, and its awesome that he will be hitting stages again. he did one show with RDC a few months back and seems to have a lit fire under his ass to get ouot playing again!

from RDC's facebook:

Jake E Lee's Red Dragon Cartel are happy to announce that we will be touring the US starting in November. The tour will begin on November 14 in Houston, Texas and will run through early 2015.

Red Dragon Cartel are also announcing a new addition to the band! Jake, Darren and Jonas would like to welcome former Badlands bassist Greg Chaisson to RDC. Greg will be taking the place of former bass player Ron Mancuso who will be returning to his production career. The band is excited to have Greg on board and can't wait to share the stage with him!

The tour dates for November are listed below.

Cool - I know he did a show with em a while back. Not that there was anything wrong with the other cat, it's just cool to see em together again!

yea, theres was nothing wrong with the other guy really, but he did lack a certain fire. and he was actually a guitarist playing bass, rather than being an actual bassist. greg is just so aggressive and out front with his playing though, i love what he does so much, cant wait for a chance to see it happen live!

I would love to hear em live myself..... only time I heard Jake was on the Ultimate sin tour- it's been a while!

How are we feeling about Red Dragon Cartel these days?

Jake’s Ozzy albums are my fave Ozzy solo albums, and I really enjoyed Badland’s “Dusk” album. Jake wrote most of those, and overall I’m a fan of his rhythm style.

I’m not hearing hooks on the RDC tracks I’ve heard so far, but I’m guessing it’s more like Badlands and just takes repeat listens.

I really haven't followed RDC, but I've been following Greg Chaisson's work in his new band, Atomic Kings. Fans of 70's blues-based hard rock will really like it! Their debut album is available on Tonehouse Records and most major streaming services. Atomic Kings
