Grindhouse

I would never say Best Movie Ever, ever.

Planet Terror was pretty good, in fact, really good. Death Proof was good for me because I love cars, but other than that, it was just very drawn out, not a good ending in my opinion, didn't even have a plot which made much sense, etc.

I was actually looking more forward to seeing Tarantino's too, so that was a bit of a disappointment.

As I said, Planet Terror was good, but even though it was well done, I am hesitant to think of it as that great of a movie.

Planet Terror was amazing. Death Proof did have a lot of drawn out dialogue, but seeing Kurt Russell as a bad guy was worth it, especially at the end.

Man, that crying was something else, eh?

Well, if I saw two cars smashed like that in real life, I'd cry too!

Still, just awesome

Which trailer was your favourite? I think Thanksgiving wins hands down, and damn, on that trampoline, I fell on the floor laughing.

Yeah that crying was hilarious. My favorite trailer was Thanksgiving, by far. The trampoline incident was pretty good, but what made me fall on the floor was about the last half second of the trailer. Anyone else catch it?

The coolest thing about Grindhouse?....ZOE BELL..yep, thats her doing all those stunts, she was Xena's stunt double AND she did all the really cool stuff for Uma Thurman in Kill Bill..(thats Zoe Bell doin all the fight scenes in Kill Bill Part 1).

awesome

Definitely going to be on my list of must have DVD's. The Rodriguez film was fantastic, but the Tarantino film started way too slow, I was losing interest by the time it finally started to take off.

The fake previews really made the atmosphere, there weren't that many in the theater I went to, but we all were having a blast. There were a bunch of girls in the row behind me really getting off on Planet Death. The preview for Machete had me laughing my ass off, I wish they would make that movie, it looks like it would be a riot. :hyper:

Ahh, sorry to break it to you man, but they're going to release them as if they're two separate movies. Maybe they'll sell Grindhouse together for a steeper price. There are money issues; the movie cost 60 million to make and so far hasn't hit the 20 million mark. Hopefully people will spread the word and help the cause.

One thing is for sure, this is going to be a cult classic.

Oh, and they're already thinking of making Don't, Thanksgiving, and possibly Machete into another Grindhouse!!!!!! SWEET! Maybe they'll keep the ball rolling!
