Groove Tool vs Raven West 7-strings?

The Bill Dickens model has a pretty thick finish on the neck, which makes it a tad bit tackier than an oiled or raw neck. I believe the GT-7 has an oil finished neck, could be wrong though.

My GTBD-7 has much thinner finish than any of my basses (except my no-finish Steinberger). It's a satin finish, and I don't find it tacky in any definition of the word. Slick as a whistle and easy to move around on.

MNAirhead, upgrade. You won't regret it. The pull-knob sub-boost alone is worth it, IMO.
