Hey guys, I had a question for you. I have been playing around with drive and fuzz and have noticed that I get a lot of noise when using those effects, except when I touch the strings. Now, normally I don't hear much of anything when using a clean sound, but with distortion it's pretty bad.
I checked for ground by using a multimeter and touching the strings and then the output jack and it showed '0.0-' different than '0L' meaning no load. I'm taking this to mean the ground under the bridge is good.
So what else can I do to rid myself of this noise? Or at least find the cause.
