grounding noise

ok so i have a tmb100 it has a PJ config. so the PBASs pickup sounds good but when i mix into the J bridge pickup i get a hummin that im pretty sure its a grounding noise. now afaik it should be grounded to a pot but this circuit is weird like it has a knob to mix between the pickups and an active eq so idk. maybe it grounds to the bridge. any advice as to how to troubleshoot this?????

The P pickup has two coils, and the two coils work together to eliminate hum. The J pickup is a single-coil, and single-coil pickups will hum. Sometimes a diligent shielding job can help to reduce the hum. The grounding on your bass is probably fine.
are you sure?? its like a bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
