Overall, I agree on the overall response that Corvette's have more growl than most Jazzes, but I don't think it gets more growly than 60's jazzes with the Alder body. Just my two cents.

To me, growl is pronounced mids, especially in the lower mid range. Based on that definition, the Warwick is the growliest. I have played a J and a Corvette and hands down, without a doubt, the Warwick has more of it.
On side note, if you pick closer to the bridge, you'll get more growl out of almost any bass.
