Gruv Gear Duo Neo Strap

So now that I'm my mid 50s I have noticed the toll that the weight of my instruments have taken on my shoulder. Even the widest strap with the most padding doesn't seem to bring the relief I need. So after doing some research I ordered the Duo Neo Strap from Gruv Gear:

DuoStrap Neo

I also bought the tension strap and an extended tail piece.

I know some of you may not like the "look" but I don't really care. Being able to distribute the weight across 2 shoulders make all the difference in the world. I highly recommend!.

I have one. Also with the tension strap. I got it when I was in the period of finally fulfilling myself with a 6 string bass I had been wanting for ages. It then led me to own several other 6 string basses, of which none were light, weighed 5-6 kgs each.

When I saw the Gruv Gear DuoStrap, I was very much interested in the concept of distributing the weight from heavyweight bass on both shoulders. But at the time, they had only the DuoStrap Erskine Signature which was too expensive for me. Fortunately, they launched the more economical DuoStrap Neo soon after (2015 or 2016?) and I immediately ordered one.

Although a year or two after, I rarely use it anymore since I sold all those heavy 6 strings but keep only 1 after discovering an Ibanez Soundgear 6 string weighing only 3.7 kgs. Even so, later I got several Gruv Gear SoloStrap 4.0 and 2.5 which have been my go-to straps in recent years. They are all very comfy for basses and guitars.
