I wonder what the developers were imagining with this: did they want to create a replication of the classic P bass mute/muted tone or were they going for something new? Seems to me that if they wanted to former that they would've used similar foam to get a similar result...
Or maybe I'm just over-thinking this whole thing. I've been searching for a cool flip-on/flip-off solution to mute my P with for a while (I like gadgets and shoving foam under the strings doesn't exactly give me what I want - I'd like to be able to switch it on and off mid-song as I do with my Hipshot D-tuner) and the options are slim pickings.
