I've been deep diving into slap bass on my B301, just curious what other people think of the tone. I think it's an amazing sounding bass, but not sure the slap punch I'd like is there. I was considering a MIM fender for a better slap tone. Thoughts?

Guild B301: anyone slap on it?

I was playing a live gig with an ampeg svt-810 AV and my guild b301. My partner bass player used the guild to play one of his songs which had a long slapping bass part in it. He played at full tone And full volume and it sounded great! It was a little light on the punch during rehearsal but with the ampeg head we were using we were able to get it sounding much better.
