    I’ve just become the owner of a 1978 Guild B301. Loving the bass but being the curious type I’m wondering how the end pin/strap button is attached to the body as there’s no visible screw?

    Jazz pickups with serious growl?...

    I'm looking for pickups with teeth but not overly trebly. A couple of examples of what I'm talking about would be Peavey Super Ferrite pickups or the Dimarzio pickups that are found in old Guild basses. Need something similar that is in a Jazz pickup enclosure. Any suggestions?

    Guild B-301 or B-302 pickguard outline

    Is there any way I can acquire a pickguard outline for these old Guild B-30X series basses? Can't find anyone willing to trace it and send a picture of it. Unfortunately buying one of these pickguards is prohibitely expensive; besides, I have a blank sheet at home.
