Guild JSB?

I THINK that they used those bridges later in the production.. cause that looks like one off of a Guild B-301 bass and that series. Instead of the Hagstrom style bridge they had earlier on.

I wish i had of gotten that fretless guild three years back or so... they wanted $500 for it.

But it looked like dried brown mud. Heh.

If your tonal preferences are more towards the Gibson than the Fender Jazz end of the spectrum, these are great basses. Beautifully crafted, all-mahogany, light, slim neck, and truly thunderous, very rich-sounding pickups. Technically short/medium scale (31" I think), but feel longer because of locations of upper strap button and bridge. Finish is usually a kind of burgundy color, and stock bridge is 60s Hagstrom-style, with wood saddles. You might find one a bit cheaper on eBay, but $850 for one in good condition doesn't seem outrageous.
