Guild Starfire: Bridge VS Neck

It may sound like a simple question, but I've always wondered...

So, everybody knows that you have in your arsenal a (beautiful) 2 pickups 60's Guild Starfire Bass.

I tried one with only a bridge pickup lately, and it sounded wonderful... lots of upper mid ''Tic-Toc'' with a round even lowend. My question is: what pickup do you use more often on yours? Is the neck pickup hard to use, muddy? Like on an EB-2?

Thanks you!

I have a Hagström Coronado with two bisonic pickups. The electronics are a bit strange on this one so when using both pickups, the neck pickup got a lot lower volume. But the sound is fantastic. For me, the neck pickup alone will give too much bottom end. The bridge pickup is were it's at.

That goes for my darkstarred Dearmond Guild Starfire as well, but even more so with bisonics as they have a more "vintage" tone with less high frequencies.
