guild stock pickup?

I would just sell it as is and let him find it and deal with it.
Who knows if he would be happy with your mods.

Also, it may have been routed to fit the Bart, who knows?

That's his problem, not yours. Put the issue where it belongs.
Right back on him.

With your instrument, he is 95% of the way there.

If that is not good enough, move on.

Also see the pickup link. There is one listed on Ebay for BIN 350.
Given what that bass is, made in the Westerly RI factory, I don't
think I would ever sell it for those kinds of numbers. Those Guilds were
very well made and are highly undervalued IMHO. The earlier Starfire
have gone through the roof now. Keep it and enjoy it.

hmm. yeah Im thinking I might not sell it. I need money cause Im getting married and my other bass is an OLP (musicman style) that I doubt would sell for much.

but yeah I was going to sell for 300 and I think I would regret it majorly the next day.

Yeah, if you need to 300 probably isn't bad based on the
ebay listing. But make him do the work.

One caveat.

It is probably not a good precedent to sell bass gear because
of an involvement with a lady, it sets a really bad precedent
for the future dynamics between your gear ownership and
your marital needs. Get the cash somewhere else and keep
your gear.

yeah I am going to keep it. I was just being impatient and not wanting to wait an extra week to make the money at work. heres another question though (i realize this question doesnt belong in this category but dont want to waste space with another similar thread) do you know where i could find a pick guard for a guild? Mines not black like the one in that ebay listing and that looks way better.
