Guitar Asylum

I don't live too far from there. I visit once every few months to see if they have new basses or amps. I have this to say about the store: the electric guitars and acoustics (which are in it's own room) are beautiful! They have top notch stuff and never any junk. As for the basses... some of the in store basses have been there for about 10 years (much like in Family Melody in Patchogue which saw it's hay-days in the 80's-90's and is now more of a student store) and there are no crazy bass amps "rigs" the last few times I have been there. The "Amp Room" is more for the guitar amps. They were liquidating SWRs a year or more ago. I remember a they still have that Spector semi hollow body and some Fernandes and Dean basses. The G&Ls are new the last time I went.

They have the best guitar stuff... blows away ANYTHING GC and Ash would ever have.

They got some nice guys working there now. Always helpful. I don't see that ordering anything from them would pose a problem.

Has anyone ordered a bass from these guys? I'm thinking of getting an ASAT from there.
