Thanks for keeping this thread going especially since some of the deals look really good.
I bought a 2x12 cabinet a years ago and the guy said that there was no shipping cost in the computer.
I assumed that this was a mistake.
Any idea how they usually react to shipping cabinets?

The ones that I've bought have been like $36, same as a combo amp. I have no idea what they'd do for an 8x10 though...

I bought a Peavey TVX 4x12 cabinet ( 140lbs!) and they told me shipping would be $50. I thought that was quite cheap, so I bought it! Turns out that they had to ship it as freight, on a truck. Cost them mega $$$$ However, they only charged me the $50 they had quoted.

Same here. Bought an old Ampeg 410 that weight just under 150. Had to ship it freight in a box that was as big as my Honda Fit. Still charged me the $36 quoted on the web site.
I complained when I bought my SVT-IIP about $36 shipping, and had it reduced to $15.
2 x SWR 750x for $299 (each). Not the new hotness, but that's a lot of amp for $300!
