Fender Marcus Miller jazz olympic white with tweed case, MIM edition but unclear if it's a three or four bolt neck - might be three since it has the Badass bridge, I think later MIM models had four bolts with Fender high mass bridge, but don't quote me on that. In a relatively hard to find color nonetheless! I have one of these (MIM three bolt) and it is an amazing instrument, the battery compartment in the back is a nice improvement over the MIJ edition with the screw plate on the front, and fit and finish is outstanding.

There's also a natural stain MIJ edition sans case available at a decent price. I have played neither of these, just a fan of this model.

Only two things stop me:
I had an early mahogany L-2000E which sounded kind of dead. I've always believed that the mahogany didn't help.
When Guitar Center rates a bass "good", it could be either: a wonderful, fully functioning player which has a big scratch (fine with me); or a cosmetically flawless specimen with a maxxed-out truss rod (not fine with me).

I ordered one in "good" condition with a broken nut.

If anyone is in the Greenfield, WI area, the Music-Go-Round has a Washburn T-35 Taurus bass for $280. This bass was part of test batch of which only, not sure which it is, 35 were made, or, 35 were sent to the USA. They have this label as a T-25 which has a bolt on neck and Washburn import "J" pickups and a Washburn import preamp.

Note that the one mentioned is neck through and the electronics are stock as these were made with a Duncan MM pickup (as shown) and Duncan preamp (which, I am guessing is still in the bass.) The bridge is also stock, with 17mm (think Spector) spacing.

I have one of these babies, and it plays really nice. The neck has never moved. The pickup and preamp sound great.

Someone has attached finger rests (and removed them, leaving screw holes below the G string, and changed out the tuners and tilted them forward, like on Warwick basses. (The original tuners were gold.)

For a neck through 5 string that is quite rare, and at $280, is less than they usually sell for...
